At Peace
Dragonflies play an important role in my work, appearing here and there through works to symbolize transformation and self-reflection. In this painting, the dragonfly hovers near the ethereal ageless woman who hovers above the surface of the sea almost effortlessly as she reflects upon her own transformations and is at peace with herself and her choices. The calmness of the sea and the rising sun help give sense of her hope and acceptance. I created this as a reminder to myself to search for that inner peace when I feel overwhelmed and helpless. I hope this can help you in the same way in your home.
